Gunter Noris – King of Dance Music Vol.6

Volume 6 is especially useful to browse by its concentration of Jive titles. It's Christmas introduces a Jive-labelled seasonal selection, and the middle-to-late programme returns repeatedly to that category through Jive All Night, Jive and Jump, Jive Baby, Jive Jive Jive and Joyful Jive. Jukebox Jive and Jumpin Jive continue the sequence after the Viennese Waltz selection Jubilee Waltz.

That emphasis does not make the entire album a Jive collection. Hot Rumba, Hot Samba and Hot Tango open the volume, followed by Hot Twist and I Love Samba. In Love with You and Jasmine Rumba provide additional Rumba material. Invitation to Swing and Just Like You are both identified as Quickstep, while Irish Romance is English Waltz and Iris Blues retains the source's broader Slow designation.

The programme also includes I Love You and Island Paradise, both labelled March, and ends with Kangaroo Cha Cha. Teachers assembling a session can therefore draw several Jive alternatives from one volume while retaining options for other dance categories. The documented twenty-three-track sequence is presented in full, preserving the individual rhythm labels instead of grouping all swing-related titles under one assumed dance. This is music for selection and listening; it does not supply choreography or a sequence-dance syllabus.
