Gunter Noris – King of Dance Music Vol.11

Product Description

The most distinctive passage in Volume 11 is its eight-track Tango group. Beginning with Tango by Starlight, the sequence continues through Tango for Two, Tango Macho, Tango of Fire, Tango Ole, Tango Passion, Tango Seduction and Taurus Tango. Dancers exploring several musical choices for the same dance can locate this extended group directly rather than assemble it from scattered selections.

The opening twelve tracks are more varied. Sunshine Foxtrot is labelled Quick Foxtrot, Sunshine Samba introduces Samba, and Sweet Bells Rumba and Sweetheart Romance supply Rumba. Sweet Teddy Bear and Swinging Vienna are Slow Fox. Swing All Night and Swinging Olympia are Quickstep, while Swing and Jive and Swinging Santa Claus represent Jive. Sweet William Foxtrot and Swingin in the Rain retain their Foxtrot labels.

After the Tango group, Teenage Party brings Jive back into the programme before The Fantastic Foxtrot and The Good Old Days close the album in Foxtrot. The selection therefore offers both a concentrated study or practice choice for Tango and music for a broader social-dance session. Its instrumental classification and full dance-labelled programme describe what customers receive without promising choreography, prescribed routines or specific numerical tempos. All twenty-three original entries are kept in their documented sequence, including the seasonal selection and every member of the Tango block.
