Gunter Noris – King of Dance Music Vol.5

Two contrasting sections help define Volume 5. The first ranges across named ballroom and Latin pieces, from Get up and Swing and Gipsy Tango to Golden Hours, Golden Waltz and Granada Passion. Later, the programme turns to a sustained series of Hot-titled selections, each assigned its own dance category rather than presented as one undifferentiated party-music block.

Within the opening portion, Happy Memories and Have a Nice Day are Foxtrot, while Golden Hours is Slow Fox. Hawaii Beach is labelled English Waltz, and Golden Waltz and Honeymoon are Viennese Waltz. Happy Cha-Cha and Hibiscus Cha Cha add two Cha Cha Cha choices; Havana Romance introduces Rumba. These labels make it possible to plan a ballroom passage using the individual categories actually documented in the collection.

The closing run starts with Hot Blues and Hot Boogie, then progresses through Hot Cha Cha, Hot Foxtrot and Hot Jive. Hot Mambo and Hot Merengue widen the selection beyond the usual competitive Latin group before Hot Paso Doble, Hot Quickstep and Hot Rock finish the programme. Customers seeking a broad instrumental dance collection therefore have both recognisable ballroom categories and additional social-dance rhythms to choose from. The complete programme below identifies every selection and its dance category, allowing a customer to choose between a concentrated ballroom passage and the wider mix of closing rhythms.
