Fundamentals of Ballroom is a 12-video training course presented by Mirko Gozzoli and Edita Daniute. The course is divided into two parts: technical fundamentals and choreography, giving dancers the opportunity to study both the principles of movement and their application in complete dance routines.
The theory section focuses on essential elements of Standard Ballroom, including posture, dance hold, changing centers, footwork, and body action. Each lesson examines one topic in detail, helping dancers develop a stronger understanding of movement, balance, and partner connection.
The choreography section demonstrates routines for Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, and Quickstep, together with an introduction to choreography and presentation before dancing. These lessons show how the technical concepts introduced earlier can be applied within complete dance sequences.
Suitable for intermediate and advanced dancers, this course provides a structured reference for improving International Standard technique while studying choreography from two experienced competitive dancers.
