Gunter Noris – King of Dance Music Vol.10

Product Description

Salsa is a notable addition in this instalment of King of Dance Music. Salsa Sensation appears between Sagittarius Foxtrot and the three-track Samba group of Samba Olé, Samba Sensation and Samba Tricks. That passage gives Volume 10 a clear Latin emphasis in its middle section while the rest of the programme supplies a wider mix of ballroom categories.

The opening moves from Rockin' All Night, labelled Rock'n Roll, into Romancing, Romantic Swing and Rose Waltz. These are respectively English Waltz, Slow Fox and Viennese Waltz, so the sequence offers changes of dance rather than one continuous rhythm. Ruby adds Cha Cha Cha, Rumba of Love and Rumba Seduction supply Rumba, and Rush Hour provides Quickstep. Sapphire and Serenade Tango represent Tango later in the album.

Towards the close, Sentimental Dreams returns to Slow Fox, followed by Sleeping Beauty in Rumba and two English Waltz selections, Snow White Waltz and Snowflake. St. Petersburg Sleigh Ride is labelled Quick Foxtrot before Starlight Serenade ends the programme in Rumba. For dancers and teachers, the benefit is a choice of several Rumbas and Sambas alongside clearly differentiated ballroom alternatives. The twenty-three-track list preserves those categories in order, helping customers choose music for their intended dance rather than rely on a title's mood or imagery.
