Gunter Noris – King of Dance Music Vol.4

Volume 4 begins with Disco Lady and Discoland, giving this instalment a different opening emphasis from the Samba-led first volume. The subsequent Dove Tango and Dreaming of You turn the programme towards Tango and the source's broader Slow category. Across twenty-three selections, the collection alternates ballroom rhythms with music labelled for other forms of social dancing.

Waltz is represented in two explicitly different categories. Dreamland Waltz, Elegance Waltz and Flower Waltz are Viennese Waltz selections; Emperor's Dream and Falling in Love are English Waltz. Dancers can use those labels to distinguish the appropriate material without assuming that every piece containing Waltz in its title serves the same dance. El Toro and Espana Ole provide a pair of Paso Doble choices, while Dove Tango and Eva's Tango form the Tango portion.

The later programme brings together Fabulous Foxtrot, Fan-Fox and Feel Like Dancing, respectively labelled Foxtrot, Quick Foxtrot and Quickstep. Every Sunday adds Cha Cha Cha and Emerald Samba adds Samba. Fly over the Rainbow returns to Disco before Gemini Rock and Gentleman Jive close the selection. This breadth suits customers assembling a varied music session rather than searching solely for a single rhythm. The successive changes of category also make it easy to compare several possible directions for a session, from a Waltz passage to a more varied social-dance programme.
