Product Description
Hotel California by Belle Perez, You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul by Thomas Anders and Like a Virgin by the Cooltrane Quartet help give Latinized! its distinctive repertoire. The appeal lies partly in encountering familiar titles through the named performers represented here, then choosing a recording within its assigned dance section.
Six Sambas open the album, with Club Des Belugas featuring Brenda Boykin, SIR, Cabas, Soulstance, Belle Perez and Treble. The six Cha Chas introduce another group of artists, including Daniel Amalm, Ursula 1000, Tim Deluxe and Major Boys featuring Aurelia. Customers who prefer a broad performer mix can explore these sections without changing the dance they are practising.
Rumba brings Paul Carrack, Freddy Cole, Shaina Noll with Russell Walden and further selections into the programme. Five Jives complete the collection, with Big Town Playboys, Roomful of Blues, Carl Perkins, Blog 27 and Velvet 99. These separate artist groups provide a clear change of emphasis across the four dance categories. For a class or partner practice session, the complete twenty-two-track table makes it easy to locate a dance, distinguish the credited recording and compare its length.
