Discover the energy, rhythm, and distinctive character of Latin Samba with legendary World Latin Champions Donnie Burns & Gaynor Fairweather. This instructional program offers dancers an opportunity to study Samba through a carefully organized collection of groups and combinations demonstrated by one of the most celebrated partnerships in competitive Latin dancing.
Throughout the program, Donnie and Gaynor present a series of Samba groups designed to help dancers develop a better understanding of rhythm, body action, movement, coordination, and partnering. The material progresses through several variations, giving dancers useful ideas that can be practiced individually or adapted to their own choreography.
Rather than focusing only on learning steps, the lessons provide valuable material for developing the recognizable Samba character and dynamic movement required in Latin dancing. Dancers can study how different figures connect together while improving musical awareness, timing, balance, and overall presentation.
The program is suitable for dancers of all levels, from students looking to expand their Samba vocabulary to experienced dancers searching for additional combinations and inspiration for practice, performance, or competition routines.
With the expertise and unmistakable style of Donnie Burns & Gaynor Fairweather, King & Queen of Latin – Samba is an excellent addition to any Latin dancer’s training collection.
