Product Description

Temptation’s first part moves between vocal Slow Foxtrots and a Quickstep selection with a strong band presence. Queen Latifah and Joe Williams appear in Foxtrot, while Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and R. Wyckoff Big Band have multiple entries across the part. The programme includes Tainted Love and Heart Of Glass as well as titles more directly associated with swing repertoire.

The second part opens with ten Waltzes, bringing together Secret Garden, Mark Knopfler, Sting and other credits. Eight Tangos then include selections from Mandragora Orchestra, I Salonisti and Malando before Fairytale and Illusion close the album as Viennese Waltzes. This layout is useful for a Standard practice session that moves from one dance to another, while the range of vocal, band and instrumental material gives room to choose a different musical atmosphere within each section.
