The Lounge Legend Ballroom Collection – Latin-American Dances

Product Description

The Lounge Legend Ballroom Collection – Latin-American Dances is a 19-track programme featuring several named dance orchestras and performers. Its appeal is the variety of credited ensembles within one Latin-American-themed collection, rather than a release by a single band. Individual playing times remain beside every selection, making the repertoire easy to browse when choosing music for listening or a social dance playlist.

Max Greger jr. und die SDR Big Band opens the collection with Matrimony, followed by Bert Kaempfert und sein Orchester on Jump In The Line. Max Greger, Werner Tauber and James Last appear in the next selections, including Carioca, La bamba and Patricia. Later titles bring in Sydney Thompson, Hugo Strasser, Bela Sanders and Tony Evans, with repertoire such as Feelings, More and And I love You So. The closing section includes Malaguena, Exodus, Trumpet Blues, Joshua fit the battle of Jericho and Boogie queen.

The original artist-and-title credits distinguish each performance and prevent the compilation from being described as a single-orchestra album. For customers who enjoy orchestral dance music, that breadth provides different musical choices within a shared theme. The programme retains the original order and all 19 playing times. It does not assign a new dance rhythm or tempo to every title where the supplied list does not provide one. Delivered as MP3 music, this collection offers repertoire and accompaniment rather than a filmed performance, technical course or additional unlisted dance instruction.
