Product Description

Jon Canning – Have I Told You Lately is a 22-entry music programme spanning ballroom, Latin and social dance categories. Jon Canning's music label specialises in recordings for ballroom and sequence dancing, and this collection brings together a broad selection of familiar songs under that dance music identity. The listed programme includes waltz, quickstep, foxtrot, tango, jive, rumba, mambo, saunter, cha cha and samba.

Have I Told You Lately and Aranjuez, mon Amour begin the waltz group. Somebody Else Is Taking My Place and Angry are the quicksteps, followed by Who Can I Turn To and Don't Be That Way for foxtrot. Libertango and Por Una Cabeza provide tango, while Tea For Two and Rock Around The Clock form the jive pair. You'll Never Find is labelled rumba, with Soul Bossa Nova and Choo Choo Samba listed as mambo. The saunter and cha cha selections precede El Cumbanchero and Que Rico El Mambo in the samba group.

Lord Of The Dance and two separately numbered When You,re Smiling entries close the collection. Their distinct positions are retained, allowing customers to see the complete programme without treating repeated titles as accidental duplicates. The varied dance labels make it possible to choose music for different parts of a social dance session or an established rehearsal plan. Vocal and instrumental material is identified in the specifications. This MP3 product supplies accompaniment rather than spoken tuition or a demonstration of dance figures.
