Christel Alexander's Dance Music – American Smooth Advanced Levels contains six tracks from the artist's 2018 dance-music collection. Five selections carry individual dance identities: foxtrot, waltz, tango, Peabody and Viennese waltz. A vocal version of Chateau Margaux supplies the final bonus entry. The album is presented as MP3 music for accompaniment and listening.
L-O-V-E opens the programme as a foxtrot, followed by Auf Wiederseh'n Is Not Goodbye for waltz and Interlude for tango. Joyride is labelled Peabody, then Chateau Margaux appears in its Viennese-waltz version and again as the vocal bonus. Both Chateau Margaux entries remain separately listed, with their original timings.
The clearly named rhythms make the release useful when choosing music for an established American Smooth routine or practice session. The Advanced Levels title does not imply that the album teaches advanced figures or includes a technical syllabus.
