Jump & Jive by Tony Evans and His Orchestra is a dance music collection devoted entirely to Jive, combining classic swing, jump-blues, rock & roll, and big-band favorites in extended medleys designed for energetic dancing.
Unlike a conventional album built around short individual songs, Jump & Jive contains six extended Jive medleys. Each track brings together several recognizable melodies, creating longer continuous selections that can be useful for Jive practice, social dancing, dance classes, demonstrations, and routine training.
