Liscio & Sala Vol. 1 – Alessandro Olivato | Prandi Sound

Liscio & Sala Vol. 1 by Alessandro Olivato brings together six dance styles in a programme that moves from traditional Italian social dancing to familiar ballroom rhythms. Released under the Prandi Sound & Multimedia label, the album contains 18 tracks arranged in clearly defined dance categories.

The opening Mazurkas—Mazurka del Sole, Platinette, and Trottolina—establish the collection’s Italian Liscio character. Three Viennese Waltzes follow, including Carmen and Farfallina, before the lively Polka selections Polka Allegra, Violetta, and Saltarello.

The second half turns to ballroom music, with Slow Waltz pieces such as If You and La Lontananza, followed by three Tangos and a closing group of Foxtrots. This combination makes the album suitable for dancers and instructors looking for music across both Italian social dance and ballroom styles.
