Prandi Sound – Bologna Open 3

Product Description

Prandi Sound – Bologna Open 3 presents 18 Latin dance selections from Prandi Sound Orchestra. The programme covers samba, cha cha cha, rumba, jive and paso doble, bringing familiar songs and dance-specific arrangements into a single collection. It is organised in groups, making it straightforward to select music for one dance or move between several Latin styles during a rehearsal or social dance session.

Four sambas begin the album, with Hips don't lie, Mas que nada, Devorame otra vez and Bate lata. The cha cha cha group includes Bang bang, Pick yourself up, Que sera and Watussi Boogaldo. Rumba has a substantial presence through Somos novios, Oblivion, Para amarte, El ciego and Where do i begin. Do you wanna dance with me and She sure can cook provide the jive selections, followed by Espanolita for paso doble. Two further rumba entries complete the programme, retaining the repeated repertoire as separate selections.

The original track list includes dance names and tempo values, giving customers useful information when choosing accompaniment for their existing routines. Vocal and instrumental material adds variety without changing the collection's focus on Latin dancing. The practical value is in having several musical choices for samba, cha cha cha and rumba alongside jive and paso doble, rather than relying on a single song for each dance. The album supplies music; it does not present choreography, technical tuition or a recording of competitors dancing at the event named in the title.
