This advanced Jive programme starts by developing familiar pattern families. Developments of the Change of Places, Reverse Whip and Whip Spin are followed by an ending to Stop and Go, showing where the selection builds on established Jive material rather than treating every variation as an isolated new subject.
The later topics broaden the choice of actions with Shadow Stalking Walks, Flea Hops, Shoulder Spin, Catapult and Chugging. New York with Springs and Arm Circles and Hip Bumps add further variation and styling material. Corky and Shirley Ballas use an organised lesson presentation for dancers familiar with their Complete Latin Syllabus Collection; the programme also includes a demonstration dance and a final bonus basics topic.
The individual developments remain distinct in the contents. Change of Places, Reverse Whip and Whip Spin each have their own development topic, and Stop and Go has a separately named ending. Later actions include Grapevine and Skip Steps as well as the shadow, spin and catapult subjects. This organisation lets an advanced student choose a figure family already familiar from syllabus study and locate the variation connected with it. The bonus basics topic has a separate place at the close, so it can be distinguished from the advanced selection. The full list preserves all sixteen entries, including the demonstration dance, rather than presenting only the most recognisable figure names.
