Product Description
This intermediate Samba selection continues with figures numbered 6–15, beginning with Traveling Bota Fogos forward and backward and Bota Fogos to promenade and counter promenade. Shadow Bota Fogos appear later, allowing viewers to study several members of that figure family within the same programme.
Reverse Turn, Corta Jaca and Closed Rocks sit alongside Stationary and Side Samba Walks. The closing Volta topic brings movements to the left and right together with Criss Cross, Maypole and Solo Spot Volta, followed by demonstration material. The range supports practice organised around related actions while retaining the distinct figures in the sequence.
The Bota Fogo selection distinguishes traveling forward and backward forms, promenade and counter-promenade subjects and shadow work. The Volta heading similarly retains several named forms within one topic rather than reducing them to a generic Volta label. A viewer returning to one of these actions can identify its particular arrangement in the contents. Other subjects give the programme a wider intermediate range: Corta Jaca, Closed Rocks and Argentine Crosses appear alongside walks and turns. Corky and Shirley Ballas present the approximately 50-minute selection, with demonstration material retained in the programme. This is a later figure volume following the beginning repertoire, with its original figure numbering preserved.
