New Steps to Success – Slow Waltz is an instructional video by Mirko Gozzoli and Alessia Betti that presents Slow Waltz through a progressive series of practice routines. Designed for dancers of different experience levels, the program is divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced sections, allowing viewers to develop their technique step by step.
Each level introduces a selection of routines that combine syllabus figures into practical dance sequences. Instead of learning figures individually, dancers can see how they connect naturally within complete combinations that can be used for regular practice and technical development.
To support independent study, every routine is presented in three formats: first danced from two different camera angles, then demonstrated with the figure names, and finally performed with musical counts. Throughout the lessons, Mirko and Alessia also share practical advice and training tips that help dancers refine their movement and practice more effectively.
Whether used for personal practice, studio classes, or syllabus training, New Steps to Success – Slow Waltz offers a structured reference for developing confidence and consistency in International Standard Slow Waltz.
