New Steps to Success – Slow Foxtrot presents a structured progression of Slow Foxtrot material divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. Each level contains three practice groups that gradually introduce more complex figures and combinations while reinforcing the fundamental principles of movement, timing, balance, and partner connection.
Each routine is demonstrated from multiple viewing directions, followed by figure-name explanations and counted practice, making it easier for dancers to study individual figures as well as complete combinations.
The program also includes practical practice advice from Mirko Gozzoli & Alessia Betti, providing useful guidance for developing smoother movement and more consistent technique.
