Mbm Co – Latin Expansion 3

Product Description

MBM Co’s Latin Expansion 3 is a 22-track Latin dance music compilation covering Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha and Jive. It places the Rumba group before Cha Cha Cha and finishes with six Jives. The original rhythm codes and language annotations accompany each artist-and-title entry in the tracklist below.

The six opening Samba selections include credits to Goca Trzan, Fleur, Ivo Robic, Biljana, Nana Mouskouri and Ivana Radovnikovic. Six Rumba tracks follow, with Tarja Lunnas, Polina Gagarina, Vinko Coce, Rocco Granata, Vyacheslav Malezhik and Drazen Zecic. These first two sections make up more than half of the album.

Four Cha Cha Cha entries are credited to Ani Lorak, Nino Ferrer, Davor Radolfi and Markshader Kunst. The closing Jive section includes two Hungaria recordings, alongside Blizanci, Vikingarna, Nelly Ciobanu and Bijele Strijele. The programme’s language notes include Serbian, Russian, Croatian, Bulgarian, German, Finnish, Italian, Ukrainian, French, Hungarian, Swedish and Moldavian.

For listeners selecting Latin practice music, the combination of dance code, performer and language is a useful guide to the range of recordings. SB denotes Samba, RB Rumba, CC Cha Cha Cha and JV Jive in this programme. The source identifies vocal and instrumental music but gives no individual tempos or durations, so no speed chart or album running time has been inferred.
