Product Description
Everybody Dance! Ballroom Hits 2012 is a thirty-track collection credited to Dancesport Unlimited. The programme assigns popular songs to a mixture of social ballroom and Latin dance categories, with discofox featuring repeatedly alongside cha cha, rumba, Viennese waltz, quickstep, samba, foxtrot and jive.
The opening Somebody That I Used to Know is labelled cha cha, while We Found Love is discofox and A Night Like This another cha cha. Valerie supplies a quickstep, Loca a samba and Alejandro a foxtrot. These designations describe the versions in this collection and should not be assumed from a song’s better-known recording.
German-language titles include Wovon sollen wir träumen, Küss mich, halt mich, lieb mich, Geboren um zu leben and Pflaster. The programme also includes Rolling in the Deep, Over the Rainbow, Titanium, Mr. Bojangles and Marry You. The closing sequence runs through Heart Skips a Beat, The Edge of Glory, Set Fire to the Rain and Party Rock Anthem.
The mixed running order and individual durations help a dancer plan a varied social playlist rather than a single-rhythm session. The original German dance names remain in the track list, with natural English terminology used in this overview. All thirty supplied titles, dance labels and timings are retained without adding unverified tempo numbers.
