Dancelife – Swing On A Star

Product Description

Dancelife – Swing On A Star offers 22 tracks combining Standard ballroom, Latin and additional social dance categories. The programme includes slow waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, slow foxtrot, quickstep and foxtrot before broadening into samba, salsa, cha cha cha, rumba and jive. Discofox, swing and merengue give the closing section a varied social dance character.

The Carter Family and Sandy's Song begin the slow waltz group. Never, Never, Never and the instrumental Donde Estas Corazon provide tango, while Wiener Bonbons and Years From Now are the Viennese waltzes. Here You Come Again and Some Enchanted Evening appear as slowfox, followed by Deja Vu and Valerie. Hotel California and Hablenme De Jatibonico lead into the Latin and social repertoire, which includes September, Swinging On A Star and You've Got A Friend. The programme ends with discofox selections, Just A Gigolo for swing and El Mujeron for merengue.

The complete list identifies instrumental entries separately and supplies dance labels, individual running times and tempo values. These details are useful when choosing between a song-led track and an instrumental selection, or when comparing the length of different accompaniment options. The range extends beyond a conventional competition-only ballroom collection, allowing music to be selected for several social styles as well. This MP3 release is a music programme, with no technical lessons or filmed performances promised.
