Product Description

Dancebeat 11 – Dance a Little Closer supplies twenty Standard ballroom music selections grouped into Foxtrot, Waltz, Quickstep and Tango. The source programme identifies each dance and tempo figure, while its closing three entries are explicitly marked instrumental. The collection is associated with Tony Evans Dancebeat recordings and offers named repertoire for several ballroom styles.

Dance a Little Closer opens the four Foxtrots, followed by My Romance, Razzle Dazzle and Jai Deux Amours. Keeper of My Heart introduces the five Waltzes, continuing with Closest Thing to Crazy, When I Need You, See the Day and Gymnopedie. I'm Putting All My Eggs in One Basket begins the Quickstep section, followed by My Lady Loves to Dance, I Wont Dance and Just Like the Rain.

Cell Block Tango, Nevertheless, Cracklin Rose and The Crave form the Tango group. The last three recordings are instrumental versions of Dance a Little Closer, Closest Thing to Crazy and I'm Putting All My Eggs in One Basket, retaining their separate Foxtrot, Waltz and Quickstep labels. This gives customers a clear choice between the named song programme and the specifically indicated instrumental alternatives. All original entries, version wording and source tempos remain in order; individual durations were not supplied. The digital product contains vocal and instrumental MP3 music rather than a dance teaching syllabus.
