Salsa Footwork & Stylings
Salsa Footwork & Stylings is a comprehensive solo movement training program taught by salsa instructor Alison Hurwitz, designed to help dancers develop stronger footwork, better body movement, and greater confidence on the dance floor. This instructional video focuses on the styling, rhythm, and technique that transform basic salsa steps into expressive, polished dancing.
Suitable for dancers progressing from beginner foundations to advanced footwork variations, the course presents a wide range of authentic salsa shines and styling exercises with clear explanations, multiple camera angles, and practical demonstrations. Alison breaks down each movement step-by-step, helping dancers improve timing, coordination, balance, musicality, and body action.
The program includes beginner, intermediate, and advanced footwork patterns, along with dedicated sections for men’s and ladies’ styling. Dancers will learn how to incorporate syncopations, swivels, turns, locks, body isolations, and styling elements that can be used during social dancing, performances, and shines.
