Dance Charts Step 6 is a Dancehouse collection of 21 selections bringing popular-song repertoire into a mixed ballroom and Latin music programme. The sequence begins with samba, cha cha cha and rumba, then offers four jives before moving into Standard ballroom material. Individual dance labels, tempo values and performer names make the programme useful for choosing accompaniment by dance rather than relying on song titles alone.

Shake Your Boom Boom and Quand Tu Chantes open the samba pair, followed by Tu No Eres Para and Tik Tok Shalima for cha cha. This Is It and Where Do I Begin provide rumba, while Sweet Caroline, If U Seek, It Happens and Satellite form the jive group. Only Time and L'Emozione Non Ha Voce introduce waltz, followed by Tango De Maria. Nara and You Know Me supply Viennese waltz, with Wire To Wire and Haven't Met You Yet for foxtrot. Fairytale and Jungle Drum lead into the closing Lala Song and Daddy DJ.

The breadth of the repertoire allows customers to choose music for a varied social dance session or concentrate on one of the paired groups.
