Bon Chiki Bon, part of the Latin Unlimited repertoire, is a 2008 Casaphon compilation covering all five Latin dances. The 22-track sequence contains six sambas, five cha cha selections, five rumbas, one paso doble and five jives. Its mix of performers and styles offers several different musical choices within a single dance programme.
Alessandro Olivato’s instrumental title track opens the samba group, followed by recordings credited to King Africa, Meire, Danni B. and Melendi. The cha cha section includes performers such as Veronica Mayra, Idana Buonaventura and Mambo Mafia feat. Vika. The collection combines Latin pop with other source-listed styles, and includes both vocal and instrumental arrangements.
The rumba group features Fields of Gold by Eva Cassidy alongside Fabio Peralta, Lizz Hollis, José Feliciano and Salsa Celtica. Banda Eduardo Cabreira supplies Espana Cani, explicitly marked with three highlights and its paso doble tempo. Jive selections then bring together Mitch Woods & His Rocket 88’s, Dana Gillespie, Dave Taylor, Fashion Girl Inc. and Barrio Latino.
The ordered rhythm groups are helpful when building a practice or social-dance playlist. Individual track labels carry the tempo notation, language, musical style and duration, allowing the user to choose a recording by more than its title. The complete supplied credits remain visible below, including soundtrack connections and the programme wording attached to the paso doble.
