Product Description
A field of 65 couples from 36 nations gathered in Oldenburg for the European Latin Championship on 25 April 2009. The EWE-Arena setting and the final’s NDR television coverage give this edition a defined event context, while Stefano Di Filippo and Anna Melnikova’s win provides its central result.
Alexey Silde and Anna Firstova placed second, followed by Zoran Plohl and Tatsiana Lahvinovich Galchun. The contemporary report describes a close contest for third, with that partnership taking four dances from fourth-placed Jurij Batagelj and Jagoda Strukelj. For viewers interested in the competitive relationships of the 2009 field, those results give substance to the event behind this Latin recording.
