West Coast Swing Music 1

Product Description

West Coast Swing Music 1 brings together 23 tracks in a 2012 Dancehouse release. The programme combines pop, swing, soundtrack, soul and rhythm-and-blues selections, each labelled for West Coast Swing in the supplied source. Dancehouse Productions provides most of the recordings, with separate credits for DJ Hoot and Rebekah Salwa where listed.

The opening choices are Black Velvet and Heartbreak Hotel, followed by Minnie The Moocher and Can't Fight The Moonlight. Need You Now, Shut Up, Let It Rock and Mustang Sally broaden the musical range. Later entries include Chain Of Fools, Poker Face, Cowboy Casanova and Don't Cha before the closing group with Little Deuce Coupe, Boom Shack-A-Lak and Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

The track order moves through supplied tempo values from 23 to 38, with several choices sharing the same value. That makes the collection useful when comparing musical styles at a similar labelled pace, or selecting a different pace for an existing practice plan. The original notation is preserved without redefining its units.

Each entry retains its performer, language, style and duration, giving customers more detail than a list of familiar song names alone. The MP3 album supplies accompaniment and listening music; it does not include West Coast Swing figures or instructional demonstrations. The full list can be reviewed before choosing tracks for a particular session.
