Product Description
This Tony Evans collection concentrates entirely on Rumba rather than mixing it with other Latin dances. Its twenty-two selections include contemporary popular-song titles such as Whole Again, World of Our Own, Out Of Reach and Chasing Cars. Dancers can therefore compare several familiar melodies within one documented dance category, with the supplied programme identifying every entry as a vocal recording.
The selection also reaches into earlier repertoire through One Moment In Time, Something Stupid, Eternal Flame and Light My Fire. Jesus To A Child and Can't Fight The Moonlight appear later, followed by Stairway To Love, Sexy Love and the closing She Will Be Loved. These are the recordings offered under Tony Evans and His Orchestra, not an assertion that the original hit singers appear on the album.
Each track carries a source tempo label. Thank You Girl is marked 24bpm and Bailmos 25bpm, while most other selections are labelled 26bpm or 27bpm. The wording and numbers are kept as catalogue notation rather than converted into a different beat-count convention. For teachers or dancers seeking alternatives for Rumba practice, the practical value is a focused set of vocal titles with a documented tempo guide. The complete twenty-two-entry list preserves every song and label, allowing customers to compare the choices without importing repertoire from the different Dancebeat Rumbas collection.
