Ballroom Flavour presents 23 Standard ballroom music selections on the Casaphon label. Released in 2013, it follows a five-dance sequence of six slow waltzes, four tangos, four Viennese waltzes, five slowfox tracks and four quicksteps. The ordered groups make the album easy to browse when choosing music for a particular dance.

The selection combines popular songs, film and television music, and swing-related recordings. Pi’s Lullaby from Life of Pi appears in a Tamil-language performance by Inna, while Awakening Soul is connected with Fairy Tail. Strawberry Girl by Blackmore’s Night and the French-language Venise 2037 by Bianca May add further individual colours to the programme.

The later dance groups include credits such as Jazzystics, Ori Dagan and Wendling, followed by quickstep selections associated with Miss Stella, Swing Kings, Carina and Marc DeVille. Rather than presenting every track as the same musical style, the source identifies the performer, language and genre for each entry.
