Mbm Co – Ballroom Expansion 2

Product Description

MBM Co’s Ballroom Expansion 2 is a 22-track collection of Standard dance music with vocal and instrumental selections. The programme begins with Slow Foxtrot and finishes with Viennese Waltz, offering a different sequence from the first volume. The original artist credits, song titles and language annotations are preserved in the tracklist.

Four Slow Foxtrot entries open the collection, including Ulli Martin, Milo Hrnic, Vikingarna and Inga Valinskiene. The four Tango selections feature credits to Iosif Kobzon, Angela Maria, Bukarester Tango and Gianmaria Testa. Slow Waltz and Quickstep each occupy the next four positions, before six Viennese Waltz tracks close the album.

The language notes span German, Croatian, Swedish, Lithuanian, Russian, Portuguese, Romanian, Italian, Polish, Finnish, French and Ukrainian. Annett Louisan appears in both the Quickstep and Viennese Waltz groups, while Vikingarna appears in Slow Foxtrot and Quickstep. These repeated artists across different dance sections give a useful point of comparison when choosing music for a varied practice session.

Dancers can use the rhythm codes SF, TG, SW, QS and VW to find the intended dance without rearranging the collection. The list also makes it possible to identify the particular credited recording behind a song title. Track durations, numerical tempos and a total running time are not provided in the supplied catalogue and have not been added.
