Product Description

Paolo Belli appears repeatedly on Latino Contigo, contributing Dr Jazz Mr Funk in the Samba section, Partita as a Cha Cha and several songs in the closing Jive group. This recurring performer links different parts of an otherwise varied compilation, while the surrounding artists bring further choices to each dance category.

The album opens with Africa by Sandro Giorgetti and moves through six Sambas, including La Mamba by Los Locos and Amor a la Mexicana by Cecilia Gayle. Five Cha Chas follow, with Contigo in its Cuba Mix version and the English version of I’m Going to Shenzhen among the selections. These version descriptions are useful when customers are seeking a particular recording rather than a song title alone.

The four Rumbas include Come As You Are, Conmigo Siempre, Como Han Pasado Los Anos and Dreamer from Final Fantasy. The programme finishes with five Jives, bringing back Paolo Belli alongside Big Band Batty Bernie and Guaposan. For teachers and dance partners choosing accompaniment, the grouped sequence makes it straightforward to stay with one dance or move through the collection. Individual artists, durations and original tempo figures remain available beside all twenty selections.
