Giants Of Latin – Latin Alliance

Giants of Latin – Latin Alliance brings together 16 selections with dance-group headings, writing credits and individual durations. The opening nine tracks are arranged in three successive Cha Cha Cha, Samba and Rumba groupings. Mambo, Merengue and Salsa sections follow, with dedicated rhythm-only selections included in the later programme.

Bang Bang, Quisiera y No Quisiera and The Summer Knows introduce the collection. Como Duele Eso Nene, Mi Cucu and To Be with You form the second trio, followed by La Cartita, Morena de 15 Años and Oui Madame. The original writing credits remain with each song, identifying composers and writers rather than being presented as the recorded performers. Chango Te Llama and El Cucu then introduce the Mambo section.

Merengue: Rhythm Only is followed by Coco de Agua, while Salsa: Rhythm Only precedes Vecina. The closing bonus track, Yo Merengue, is identified in the original programme as introducing the Giants of Latin title Latin, The Modern Way. This structure gives customers both named repertoire and clearly labelled rhythm tracks, with all supplied durations retained. The repeated group headings also remain in place so the original sequence is not flattened or rearranged. The album supplies vocal and instrumental MP3 music, with no invented choreography, performer biography or technical lesson content.
