Dancelife – The Best Rumba Collection

Product Description

Three short selections near the end of The Best Rumba Collection offer a useful contrast to its main song programme. Babe, The Summer Knows and To Be with You each run for approximately a minute and a half, followed by the longer closing Rumba Rhythm. Teachers can choose between brief exercises and more extended partner practice without leaving the album’s Rumba focus.

The earlier repertoire includes Nobody Knows, Wishing on a Star, Falling into You and Caruso. Spanish-language song titles such as No Se Por Que Te Quiero, Con Los Anos Que Me Quedan and Puro Teatro sit alongside Vincent, Loving You and You’ve Got a Friend. These familiar titles give customers several starting points when selecting music they would enjoy practising to.

All twenty entries share the same listed Rumba tempo value in the original programme, which makes the different songs the main point of comparison. The collection is particularly relevant to a lesson or rehearsal devoted to Rumba, where a change of music can accompany repeated work on the same dance. Every title remains in its original position, with the supplied durations shown individually, including the distinction between the shorter closing songs and the surrounding recordings.
