Product Description

Dancehouse – Standard Music 1 offers twenty selections for the five Standard ballroom dances. The programme combines film, stage and popular-song titles with supplied dance codes and tempo figures. Four Slow Waltzes open the collection before Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot and Quickstep groups.

Theme from the Cider House Rules, Bonnie Portmore, First Kiss and Song from Moulin Rouge form the opening Waltzes. El Toreador and Hernandos Hideaway provide Tango, followed by Do I Hear a Waltz, A Viennese Waltz and Meet Me in St Louis with Viennese Waltz codes. Theres a Small Hotel, Walkin My Baby Back Home and You Took Advantage of Me introduce Slow Foxtrot.

Put on a Happy Face, 42nd Street and You and Me supply the main Quickstep group. The final five selections revisit all five dances through The Patriot, El Choclo, Upstairs Downstairs, I'm Glad I'm Not Young Anymore and Theme from Bewitched. This closing sequence gives an additional named choice for each rhythm without changing the original order. All twenty titles and source tempo figures are retained; individual durations and performer credits are not supplied in this programme. The collection is useful for browsing Standard dance repertoire by song or rhythm. It delivers vocal and instrumental MP3 music, without video demonstrations or technical teaching content.
