Dancehouse – Christmas Music (2CD)

Product Description

Dancehouse – Christmas Music contains 36 seasonal selections divided into two original programme parts. The first eighteen tracks focus on Latin dance labels, while the second eighteen cover Standard ballroom styles. Familiar carols and Christmas songs appear with different dance arrangements, and the complete list keeps each version in its supplied position.

Part 1 opens with Angel We've Heard on High as Cha Cha Cha, followed by Arre Borriquito as Rumba. Its repertoire also includes Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly, Frosty the Snowman, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Jingle Bells and Joy to the World. Mambo Jingle Bells and Silent Night carry Samba labels, with The First Noel, White Christmas and Winter Wonderland appearing later in the sequence.

Part 2 begins with Away in a Manger as Slow Waltz and Baby, It's Cold Outside as Slow Foxtrot. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and Good King Wenceslas supply Tango, while Jingle Bells, Merry Christmas Everyone, Sleigh Ride and Snowbird are labelled Quickstep. My Favourite Things, The Night Before Christmas, We Three Kings of Orient Are and We Wish You a Merry Christmas carry the supplied Viennese Waltz codes. All source tempo figures and repeated song titles remain intact. The collection provides vocal and instrumental MP3 music for seasonal listening and dance repertoire selection, without a teaching syllabus or invented individual durations.
