Ballroom Dancer | Slavik Kryklyvyy & Anna Melnikova

Ballroom Dancer is an intimate documentary about passion, ambition, love, and the demanding reality of professional Ballroom dancing.

The film follows former World Latin American Dance Champion Slavik Kryklyvyy as he attempts to return to the top of competitive dancing after years away from the spotlight. Alongside his new dance partner and girlfriend Anna Melnikova, Slavik pursues a comeback while confronting intense training, physical injury, competitive pressure, and the challenges within their relationship.

Far removed from a traditional instructional video, Ballroom Dancer reveals the human side behind the glamour of elite DanceSport—the discipline, perfectionism, sacrifice, anxiety, and emotional cost of pursuing excellence.
