Argentine Tango – Vals Vol. I introduces the musicality and fundamental figures of Argentine Vals. Taught by Christy Coté & George Garcia, the course explains how traditional Argentine Tango movements are adapted to the continuous 3/4 rhythm of Vals while maintaining smooth partner connection and musical interpretation.
Beginning with an introduction to Vals musicality, the program presents ten progressive figures followed by improvisational demonstrations that show how they can be combined naturally for social dancing.
