Volume 2 of the Advanced Salsa Mastery System continues Evan Margolin’s Salsa instruction with Nadine Chan and Angeline Lucia. The volume’s focus is a further selection of advanced patterns and techniques, giving experienced students more material to study after the first part of the series. Its intended audience is intermediate and advanced dancers who already have a foundation for more demanding Salsa study.
Across the wider system, pattern learning is accompanied by demonstrations, breakdowns, close-up explanation and practice with Salsa music. The collection emphasizes movements that partners can lead and follow socially, alongside styling, footwork and body movement. That teaching approach provides context for this continuation: the interest is in understanding advanced dancing as well as remembering a sequence of moves.
The six-part collection brings together several teaching partnerships. Louise Garrison appears with Margolin in Volume 1; Alison Hurwitz and Jesus Ortiz teach Volumes 3 and 4. This second volume returns to Margolin with Chan and Lucia. Those distinctions help students choose the teaching partnership they want to study without confusing the separate programmes.
The wider collection includes both On1 material and a dedicated On2 programme, more than eight professional instructors and instructor question-and-answer material. These are collection features. This individual Volume 2 product provides the continuation of Margolin’s advanced pattern and technique instruction; it does not include all six volumes.
