Product Description
Sergiu Rusu and Dorota Makar head the documented Amateur Ballroom final in this 2016 Blackpool Dance Festival recording. Chong He and Jing Shan follow in second place. The six-couple results identify partnerships representing Poland, China, Russia and England, providing a clear reference for viewers following the amateur competition.
The recording is associated with the British Open Championships at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Multi-camera footage is accompanied by commentary, analysis and interviews, so the programme combines competition viewing with discussion of the event and its dancers. This makes it relevant to followers who enjoy the performances as well as the context surrounding them.
For amateur Standard dancers, watching the featured partnerships offers an opportunity to observe competition presentation and compare the couples within the same event. Teachers and students can use the performer list to identify whom they are watching and return to particular partnerships for discussion. The stated running time is 1 hour 57 minutes. The complete final table follows in its original order, with every placing, couple name and country retained.
