Continuous movement needs to work for both people in a partnership. John and Snieguole Wood explore how dancing can feel strong and connected while remaining elegant and comfortable for each partner. The subject is the quality of the movement they create together, rather than a documented sequence of numbered syllabus figures.

The original account emphasises their practice of showing correct examples in performance. Viewers can therefore approach the recording as a demonstration-led discussion of movement and partnership, with examples to observe and consider during their own study. The lecture was recorded for Bad-Harzburg Congress 2007 and is supplied as an English-language MP4 video collection.
