The International Latin Mastery 2000 Technique Collection brings together five instructional programs with Corky & Shirley Ballas, providing a dedicated technical study for each of the five International Latin dances.
Rather than treating Latin technique as a single set of movements applied equally to every rhythm, the collection separates Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Jive, and Paso Doble into individual volumes. This allows dancers to concentrate on the distinct timing, movement qualities, actions, and character associated with each dance while studying them as part of one complete Latin training series.
The collection can be used progressively—working through all five dances—or as a reference when a particular dance requires additional technical study. This format is especially practical for competitors and instructors who regularly need to move between different Latin rhythms during training.
Featuring two highly experienced Latin champions and coaches, the series provides material for developing a more informed understanding of International Latin technique rather than simply adding new choreography.
