Klaus Hallen – The Quickstep Collection (2CD)

Product Description

The Quickstep Collection supplies 39 selections in two preserved programme parts, presented under the Klaus Hallen brand. The original contents name numerous singers, bands and orchestras, with individual timings and tempo values. The programme is a multi-credit Quickstep repertoire collection rather than an assertion that every recording is performed by Klaus Hallen.

Part 1 contains nineteen entries, opening with Dancing Fool and Life Goes to a Party. Credits across the first part include Nicola Dawn, Les Brown, Nat King Cole in the original abbreviated form, Billy May Orchestra, Bobby Darin, Della Reese, Johnny Mathis, Doris Day, Andy Williams and others. A Lovely Night, Deed I Do, I Walk the Line and S'wonderful appear among its closing selections.

Part 2 contains twenty entries beginning with Sing Sing with a Swing and Too Darn Hot. As Long as I Am Singing, Rhythm Is Our Business, At the Jazz Band Ball, 42nd Street and Puttin' on the Ritz continue the named repertoire. The later selections include No Me Voy Sin Bailar, Hold Tight, With Plenty of Money & You and Thoroughly Modern Millie, with Sunday closing the programme. All thirty-nine original credits, tempos and durations remain in order, including the separate numbering in each part. The collection delivers vocal and instrumental MP3 music for listening and Quickstep repertoire selection, without technical dance lessons added.
