Chartbreaker for Dancing, Vol. 3

Product Description

Chartbreaker for Dancing Vol. 3 presents fifteen popular-song dance arrangements credited to Tanzorchester Klaus Hallen. Released in 1999, the album covers the five Standard dances and several Latin rhythms, with a discofox selection included in the original sequence. The supplied performer credits identify the vocalists featured on individual tracks.

Viva Forever provides the samba, while Big Big World and This Goodbye Is Not Forever are cha cha selections. The rumba group includes My All, Goodbye and If You Believe. Calcutta supplies the jive and Darlin’ the discofox. These recognisable song choices give dancers alternatives to an exclusively orchestral ballroom programme.

The Standard selections include When You Believe and I’m Your Angel as slow waltzes, Believe as tango, No Man’s Land and Hijo de la Luna as Viennese waltzes, Have You Ever as slowfox and Stranded as quickstep. Featured credits across the album include Brigitte Nijman, Louis Drabe, Claudia Streza, Peter Bauchwitz, Caren Faust, Anja Lerch and Ingrid Simons.

The mixed running order is preserved, with dance, tempo, language, style and duration available for each source recording. That information helps a teacher or social dancer select the arrangement required rather than assuming every version of a song has the same rhythm. The album is recorded music for dancing, with the complete fifteen-track programme shown below.
