Product Description
Essential Downloads 2 assembles 24 sequence-dance music tracks from David Last, Richard Keeling, Larry Green, Philip Randles, Ronnie Ross, Tony Gilbert and DanceClub. The programme offers two selections for each of its listed groups, moving through swing, foxtrot, tango, waltz, blues, quickstep, saunter, jive, mambo, rumba, cha cha and Mayfair Quickstep.
David Last starts the collection with Yakety Sax and Rondo Alla Turka for swing, then returns with the tangos Any Dream Will Do and Ecstasy. Philip Randles supplies foxtrot and mambo material, including the Knots Landing / Dallas medley. Richard Keeling's contributions include Waltz and Saunter, while Larry Green appears in quickstep, rumba and the closing Mayfair Quickstep group. Ronnie Ross and DanceClub add selections whose vocal annotations are retained where supplied.
The range is useful for a teacher or social-dance organiser choosing music across several sequences without moving to a separate album for every rhythm. The source gives distinct jive tempo values for Tony Gilbert's two entries, illustrating why the individual labels matter when choosing a track. Medleys, credits and original BPM values remain attached to their entries in the full list below. Supplied as MP3 music, the album provides accompaniment for dances already known to the listener.
