We have considered the business aspects involved from the points of view of the tyro venturing into the business for the first time as well as those who are well established. The particular problems which arise from the educational process in respect of teaching dance have been set out. While we deal with all important facets of the topics discussed we have, nevertheless, limited ourselves mainly to addressing the underlying principles involved.
The reader will benefit from further study with special reference to their own particular circumstances.
Ebook – The Dance Teachers’ Handbook
Ebooks, Lyndon WainwrightThe Teachers’ Committee The British Dance Council.
Dancers put a great deal of effort into learning to dance well and to
understand the technical principles underlying the form of dance studied.
When a dancer turns to teaching there has been little guidance in print on
the detail of either teaching dance or of running a dance school business.
This booklet is an effort partly to fill that void.
