Product Description
Latin Music 4 has a varied song repertoire and a particularly substantial Rumba section. The programme begins with Cha Cha selections including Tragedy, Cha Charungao, Get the Party Started (Party Mix) and Gozar La Vida. Those entries are followed by Jive recordings with different style annotations: The Whole World is listed as pop, Wrapped Around as country and western, and Do the Pup and Shake, Rattle & Roll as swing.
Seven Rumba selections form the middle of the collection. Spanish-language titles such as Como Se Cura Una Herida, Si Te Vas and Como Olvidar appear with Cry (Club Edit), Calling (Edit Version) and Something Stupid. Performer credits and vocal-language information make this section useful for teachers looking for more than a dance label when choosing accompaniment.
The closing Samba group includes Amy Fields's French-vocal La Vie en Rose, followed by Ain't It Funny (Remix), Mayonesa (Radio Edit), Que Te Vaya Bien and Whenever, Wherever (Dub Edit). The mix of languages, repertoire and explicitly named versions gives the album its character. Each track's artist, duration, dance code and musical annotation remains visible in the complete programme.
