Bronze Jitterbug provides a structured introduction to the patterns and partner skills used in this energetic form of swing dancing. Christian Perry & Annette Nicole begin with the fundamental Swing Basic before gradually introducing turns, passes, open-position movements, and Whip variations.
An important feature of the program is its treatment of both Single Time and Triple Time rhythm. After learning the first group of figures, dancers can see the same material demonstrated with each timing, making it easier to understand how familiar patterns adapt to different rhythmic structures.
The second part of the lesson expands the vocabulary with the Sugar Push, Right and Left Side Passes, and Lindy Hop Whip. Whip Out from Closed and Whip Into Closed further develop transitions between open and closed positions.
Figure-group demonstrations and a final dance demonstration show how the individual patterns connect in continuous dancing, making the program useful both as a Bronze syllabus course and as a reference for social swing practice.
