An Open Break Underarm Turn begins this collection of ten American Style Rumba variations. Felipe Telona, Jr. and Carolina Orlovsky-Telona continue through second-position breaks, crossover and switch-turn material, a full underarm turn into a three-step turn, and a hip twist. A demonstration of the first five figures then gives the programme a clear review point before the second group begins.
The later variations introduce curls and open rocks, a ronde connected with turning, a box in shadow with a roll, same-foot breaks and opposition breaks. The range is useful for students choosing a particular family of actions to study, as well as for dancers exploring how their Bronze repertoire can be combined in different ways. Their individual names make it easy to choose a combination for closer study with a partner or teacher.
A second demonstration covers Figures 6–10, followed by a freestyle dance demonstration. These demonstration sections let viewers study the figures together as well as return to the individual variation they are practising. The source identifies Bronze beginning-to-intermediate dancers and approximately 86 minutes of material. The grouped reviews give dancers a useful stopping point after each half of the repertoire.
